Remington-bone-collector

I grew up shooting Remington shotguns and rifles. My first rifle given to me by my Dad for hunting Booger Bottom was Remington model 742 30-06-auto loader. Man, I laid down some whitetails with this bad boy in the early 80’s. It was soon after this I discovered the Remington model 700 bolt gun, the most accurate rifle out of the box that I have ever shot. I now have several 700’s in 30-06, 338 win mag., which I arm myself with when putting the crosshairs on whitetails.

Remington-core-lokt

For rifle bullets, I love Remington 180 Grain Core Lokt – especially in smaller calibers. When it comes to muzzleloader sabots, I shoot nothing but 250-grain T/C Shockwaves.

I helped design the revolutionary T/C Triumph Bone Collector Muzzleloader to be a powerhouse of a smoke pole. A muzzleloader may be a primitive weapon, but the Triumph is one performance driven gun. I love letting the smoke fly to stock the freezer with some backstraps or going “shopping” for the perfect Christmas dinner.

T7 powder

I hardly consider myself a blackpowder expert. I’vebeen using Hodgdon’s Triple Seven recently, and I’ve had great luck with it. It contains no sulfur, so there are no strong smells and clean-up is a breeze. I’ve always shot 150 grains.

Detail bonecollector bull whisper

Man, these guys have changed the way I think of air guns. These new Gamo air rifles are shooting as hard as 22’s. I killed a big hog with my 22 cal. Bone Collector Bull Whisper this year and couldn’t believe it. They are super accurate and so cheap to shoot all day long. Any small game hunting is a no-brainer. I just pick up my Gamo and start collecting bone.
