Ya’ll know how I feel about our troops. Whether you support the war or not you better support our troops. Let’s all remember how we got our Liberties in the first place. I get letters daily from soldiers who are missing the season because of their Tour of Duty. Whether in the desert or forest; in a tank or on stand — we are all Hunters. This is a place where we all can give a SHOUT OUT to our Brotherhood of Bone Collector’s.

Michael,
I really enjoy watching you shows, the way you guy joke with each other is humbling. I also want to salute you and your team in all you do for soldiers like myself. Too many people forget where they came from. Maybe one day I can shake your hand and give you the thanks you deserve. Now, lets kill some thunder chickens…
March 8th, 2010 at 5:14 pm
Michael,
I met you at the Dixie Deer Classic on the last day you were there. I hope you like the “Welcome to the Brotherhood” hat that I gave you. I really thought it was cool to trade with you. That’s a hat that I got for re-enlisting for the second time in Special Forces. Wear it proudly my brother. You’re a cool dude and down to Earth. I like the way you BS with T-Bone and Nick on your show. I know how important it to have good friends around. See you around.

Michael last March I came back from a deployment, I got myself a new bow, and it’s the Bear lights out. It has one of the string catchers or what ever there called. My question is the black string that wraps around the bow string is broke at the spot where the string hits the stop. Is that normal and do I need replacing the string every year?
February 6th, 2010 at 2:12 pm
Michael,
Thanks for all you do! Your Road Trip Video’s have helped pass the time during this deployment, which began during prior to the GA/AL hunting season ending! Being away from the US really makes me appreciate the freedoms we have and the great opportunities we have to enjoy God’s Great Outdoors! Thanks for sharing your hunting experiences with us! God Bless…also, I know you did good when you married an Auburn grad! War Eagle!

Michael Thank you so much for supporting our troops I have a son currently serving in Iraq he was home on leave for a few days during the archery season and I spent (2) precious days in the Mountains with him and his older brother prior to him leaving and missing the rest of this season. My son’s are my two best hunting partners and not having Pat here for the entire season was bitter sweet.
Our grand plan when he returns is for all of us to take our once in a life time caribou hunt it will be our celebration for his safe return home.
In these times it is so refreshing to have people recognize our troops for all that they do to keep us free. My family just wanted to thank youu for all you do to keep them in mind. God Bless our Military JJWILLY

I’d like to say thank you for the support we get from Michael and all the Realtree team. I’m currently serving on my 4th trip to Iraq not including Desert Storm. I’m stationed at Ft. Campbell, but born and raised in GA. I’ve recently come across some hunting videos like Monster Bucks 15 and some Realtree Roadtrips that are making time go by faster over here. I was hoping to get to meet Michael Waddell last year at the Eastern Outdoors show in Harrisburg, Pa but wasn’t able to make it.
I’m looking to head to Buck & Boar in SC when I get back and do European hog hunting with Troy Ayer and some of the Bass Pro girls (Sheri and Barb).
Again, Thanks for the support and may you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
December 11th, 2009 at 3:31 pm

November 13th, 2009 at 9:10 am
MICHAEL… THANKS SO MUCH FOR OFFERING A PLACE LIKE THIS FOR THE TROOPS TO READ.
I thank God everyday for the men and women of our Armed Services – for all that the endure and go through.
It’s wonderful that they have as much support as they have these days – Thanks to folks like You.
My husband is currently on his 3rd tour in Iraq, expecting him home in Feb 2010 to reunite with his daughter of which he last saw when she was only 10 days old. The two major things that upset him the most this deployment was missing out on his daughter and missing hunting season!! He was born to hunt and was very dissappointed that he wouldn’t return during season but right after it ends… Please keep up the good work – We LOVE watching the shows – When he’s home if we are NOT hunting our TV remains on YOUR SHOWS.

I want to try to express my profound gratitude to all the fine men and women who have volunteered to stand in harm’s way to keep my family and our American Dream safe. I promise to do all I can on the home front to protect and preserve your liberties and the American way of life while you are risking so much more for us in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere. I earnestly pray for your great success and safe return to us.

I just want to thank you guys for thanking us. When us troops go through and read these thank you’s it realy helps the spirits. Being away from home, family, friends, and the great outdoors gets rough at times, but when you here a simple thank you it reminds us of why we are doing this. I just ask when you get a chance through out the day, say a simple prayer for the ones over there, and for my brothers who havnt made it back and there familys. Thank You and Semper Fi!

As a retired member of the US Navy i have been out to sea and in Iraq. Real Tree Road Trips Videos made me feel like i was at home when I watched. Being a NW Florida boy it was just good to hear the voices and the cutting up like I was home with the boys. It would be awesome to broadcast on Armed Forces Radio and TV over seas. I know there are BuBBas like me who could use a piece of home.

As a veteran of the Desert Shield/Storm conflict, hats off to the men and women of our Armed Forces. I was in the 82nd Airborne Division and know how good AND bad it can be. Keep your powder dry, your head down but your eyes wide open. Stay safe!
Two types of of people have given themself for others
one gave himself for our souls – thank you Jesus
the other is any service man/woman who gave up their life for our freedom…….thank an active soldier or veteran for their service. ALL GAVE SOME …. SOME GAVE ALL !
July 2nd, 2009 at 6:44 pm
Where could I possibly begin? First of all, as a proud American, my Heart and PRAYERS go out to the men and women of OUR Armed Forces. If people only knew and realized how powerful those word are, we would ALL tremble in reverance. We as people need to remember why tha U.S.A. is the nation of freedom. There are those who try to abolish those rights, PRAYER, GOD, THE RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS, and many more. Micheal, it is going to take people like you, who is not afraid of taking a stand and voicing the truth. I just want to say THANKS to all of our Armed Forces for the ultimate sacrafice and you guys and girls are not forgotten in my house, you are lifted on high! May God bless each of you beyond all imagination. Thank and we are Bone Collectors!

June 10th, 2009 at 5:15 pm
God bless all the soldiers who give up their freedom so we can have ours. I received this letter in an e-mail and thought it would look great on your page.
Luke AFB is west of Phoenix and is rapidly being surrounded by civilization that complains about the noise from the base and its planes, forgetting that it was there long before they were. A certain lieutenant colonel at Luke AFB deserves a big pat on the back. Apparently, an individual who lives somewhere near Luke AFB wrote the local paper complaining about a group of F-16s that disturbed his/her day at the mall.
When that individual read the response from a Luke AFB officer, it must Have stung quite a bit.
The complaint:
‘Question of the day for Luke Air Force Base:
Whom do we thank for the morning air show? Last Wednesday, at precisely 9:11 A.M, a tight formation of four F-16 jets made a low pass over Arrowhead Mall, continuing west over Bell Road at approximately 500 feet. Imagine our good fortune! Do the Tom Cruise-wannabes feel we need this wake-up call, or were they trying to impress the cashiers at Mervyns early bird special?
Any response would be appreciated.
The response:
Regarding ‘A wake-up call from Luke’s jets’ On June 15, at precisely 9:12 a.m., a perfectly timed four- ship fly by of F-16s from the 63rd Fighter Squadron at Luke Air Force Base flew over the grave of Capt. Jeremy Fresques. Capt Fresques was an Air Force officer who was previously stationed at Luke Air Force Base and was killed in Iraq on May 30, Memorial Day.
At 9 a. m. on June 15, his family and friends gathered at Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City to mourn the loss of a husband, son and friend. Based on the letter writer’s recount of the fly by, and because of the jet noise, I’m sure you didn’t hear the 21-gun salute, the playing of taps, or my words to the widow and parents of Capt. Fresques as I gave them their son’s flag on behalf of the President of the United States and all those veterans and servicemen and women who understand the sacrifices they have endured..
A four-ship fly by is a display of respect the Air Force gives to those who give their lives in defense of freedom. We are professional aviators and take our jobs seriously, and on June 15 what the letter writer witnessed was four officers lining up to pay their ultimate respects.
The letter writer asks, ‘Whom do we thank for the morning air show? The 56th Fighter Wing will make the call for you, and forward your thanks to the widow and parents of Capt Fresques, and thank them for you, for it was in their honor that my pilots flew the most honorable formation of their lives.
Only 2 defining forces have ever offered to die for you….Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.
One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.
Lt. Col. Grant L. Rosensteel, Jr.

There are two who have died for our freedom and liberties; God and Soldiers serving thier country! As a soldier myself thanks too all those who support us, also thanks to those serving in harms way as we speak. This is a time to reflect and thank the lord for our many blessings, our families and to be an American where we have the freedom to live peacefully thanks to our Armed Forces. Wihout a strong Armed Forces we would not have the liberties we enjoy today. Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Hunting!

Thank You Troops!! All the hunters wouldn’t be able to do what we love without you all. I try to remember to give thanks every time I harvest a game animal. Without your sacrafice and dedication I and everyone else wouldn’t be able to enjoy hunting.
Thank You and God Bless!

I just want to thank everyone for all of your support. I am a soldier deployed now for my second time with the first infantry divison big red one. We are on our way back here shortly in the next few days after 15 months of being over here. I can not wait to get in that stand for the RUT in Kansas. But its good to know that there are people out there that truely honor what we are doing here and have not forgot about us. I know for me and my buddies that is what it comes down to each and everytime. Knowing that what were doing over here isn’t for nothing. Thanks again Michael, T-Bone, Nick all you guys your videos make some days just more tolerable for us and we enjoy every chance we get to watch them. Even if it is over and over again. I wish I had the chance to hunt with you guys maybe someday my dream may come true. Thanks again. Spc Spoon, J NO MISSION TO DIFFICULT DUTY FIRST!!

I would just like to say, I am a SSG in the US army Reserve and have been deployed to Kuwait and Iraq. My oldest son Chris is there now with my old unit, who I deployed with in 2003, doing my old job.
My youngest son just swore in with the Navy and leaves in May. So as most of yall have figured by now I am not only proud to serve my country but also a very proud Dad.
My Family! PROUD TO SERVE, WILLING TO DIE, LIVE TO HUNT!
GOD BLESS AMERICA!

To the protectors of our FREEDOM:
Thank you so very much for selflessly defending our nation, families, values, and freedoms. Without the dedication and heroism of all the men and women who fight to protect the country I love so much, none of this would be possible. I get goosebumps and damn’ner tear up when I think about all the sleepless and uncertain nights you go through. Not a day goes by that I do not think of your service to our country and hope to buy each one of you I meet on the street dinner and a beer when you get back. I know some in this country take for granite the work that you do. I make sure to remind every punk protester that I see, the freedoms and liberties that all them to make asses of themselves is protected and preserved by your selfless service to our country. Thank you and God Bless. Our thoughts and prayers are with you with each sandy step you take.

This is for my cousin, SPC Timothy Goldacker, and all of the men and women who sacrifice so much for all of our freedom! THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! If you have children, and for yourselves, look up sign language for “Thank You” and learn it!! Most people don’t know what to say when they see a soldier because “Thank You” just doesn’t seem like enough, so we often don’t say anything at all. I’ve taught it to my 3 boys and everytime they see a soldier they can’t wait to sign “Thank You” to them, and there’s just something about seeing a soldier smile so big!!! When I hear the song “Chicken Fried” by the Zac Brown Band it really makes me smile because it reminds me of my cousin, and all the simple things in life that I’m very greatful for!
My cousin is suppose to be out of the Army in March 2009, but they have already set the Stop Loss date for Jan. 1, 2009 so he will be going back to Iraq as early as Nov.2008 for 1 year. We remain strong, and know that God asks great things of great people!! Sorry this was so long, but this is one subject that really touches my heart!

I will be leaving for Iraq next spring so I have one more season to hunt before I go. Hopefully it will be a good one. From all of us who do serve, thank you for your support and wishes. Keep the faith and keep showing your pride and support for all soldiers, it really does every military member’s heart some good to hear the words “thank you for all you do”. So on behalf of a great and prideful military, thank you for the support.

I’d like to give a huge Thanks to all of the men and women serving at home and abroad. I’ve been privileged to travel to other countries and get a small glimpse of what life is like when democracy isn’t an option. Some people forget all too easily that the freedoms we enjoy as Americans are hard-fought freedoms, and never EVER free. We’re forever indebted to the ones who keep our freedoms within reach. Thank you. God Bless You. And may you all have a safe trip home.

Hey guy I am from Kentucky currently serving in Afghanistan. This is the first year I am not going to be home for the Bowhunting. We are so lucky to live in this country, and have the freedoms we have. And its all thanks to our military. I come from a family with a lot of military background. I have had to sacrafice time with my dad growing up so he could go serve. Thanks you so much for what your doing for our country!
August 10th, 2008 at 8:27 pm
I just wanted to THANK all you guys and gals in our Armed Forces for all you do every day. Without your hard work and dedication, we wouldn’t have the freedoms we have today. As I was reading through the other (shoutouts), Jeremys caught my attention, please don’t forget about our WW2 vets. My father was a WW2 vet, he didn’t talk much about what he went through over there but to me he was a HERO.

I am an iraq vet and proud of that, my brother is still there handling his business in sadr city. I am grateful to all you folks that support the troops, but please remember the old vets esp those from ww2. They are passing at a high rate of speed, and they are the real heros in my book. We have the best gear there is and those boys didnt have much at all and had some of the worst fights in history, battle of the bulge, guadal canal, iwo jima. Do YOURSELF a favor, thank and meet a vet like those guys.

Too all you folks in the Armed Forces and your families,
My family and I appreciate everything you all do, and have done, for our country and us. We do not take for granted the sacrifices you, your prior brothers and sisters in arms, and all of the families have made. You all are the best of the best and the cream of the crop, and we applaud you for your dedication and hard work.
God Bless, take care of business, and come home safe.

What all the troops do for our country gives us hunters our freedom. There is definitely no better feeling of freedom than sitting on stand on a frosty morning waiting on daylight and “FREAK NASTY” to show up…..God Bless all our TROOPS! Stay safe and get home soon.

Our country would be a totally different place and our lives would not be the same if it wasn’t for our soldiers. So thank you for all that you’ve done and all that you will do in the future. We owe our freedom and the right to live the way we do to you. -Aaryn
