Heroes
God
When you’re on His team, all things are possible. All blessings come from Him. He’s in
control. If you don’t agree, you’d better reconsider.
Fred Bear
In my eyes Fred Bear was simply The Man. He unselfishly promoted and grew the sport of archery more than anyone. All of us who shoot a bow owe him a debt of gratitude. Fred was also a smart enough businessman to make a living doing what he loved. And I dig the fact that he made no effort to hide his love of double-lunging animals with his bow. He carefully recorded all of his hunts and he never stopped inventing the best possible gear for bowhunters. His legacy is huge. How can any hunter not love Fred Bear?!
Chuck Adams
Chuck is simply one of the best bowhunters ever. He’s a calculated killer of all the game he pursues. He doesn’t settle for anything but the biggest and best. And he’s one of those rare guys who stuck to what he loves and found a way to turn it into a livin’ by setting goals and working hard everyday to achieve them. He strives to be the best he can be in the field, and I really respect him for that. He’s proof that hard work pays off, and his unrivaled passion for bowhunting is just awesome.
Our American Soldiers
Without the efforts and sacrifices of these BRAVE men and women, we wouldn’t have the freedom to pursue the things we love. It leaves me speechless (which is no small feat!) to see just how unappreciated and hated our soldiers are by hypocritical, anti-American liberals - the kind of sick people who find the need to march at soldiers’ funerals carrying signs that read, “God loves dead soldiers.” They don’t realize that without these soldiers putting their lives on the line, they wouldn’t even have the right to practice the 1st Amendment and wave their ridiculous signs! The members of our Armed Forces need to be treated with gratitude and respect, and we should all recognize them as the heroes they truly are.
Hank Williams, Jr.
Although he’s certainly not perfect, I’ve always identified with and appreciated his music. “Bocephus” never tries to be politically correct; he just lays it out there the way he thinks it should be. He makes his music on his terms, and his fans - myself included - recognize and respect that. And the fact that he’s a good ol’ Southern Boy makes him even cooler in my book!
Jeff Foxworthy
Take away all the fame and success, and Jeff is just a downright good guy who loves to hunt and spend time with his family. Through all his success, he’s never forgotten where he came from or all the people who helped put him at the top. He’s a super funny dude who’s always treated me like a brother, and he always gives me great advice.
