Camo … This one’s a no-brainer. Realtree and Advantage all the way. I’ve found that Realtree AP works everywhere, but I still might like Advantage MAX-1 HD even better. As long I’m packing one of these two patterns, I’m good to go.

External clothing … My go-to bowhunting garment is ScentBlocker’s Realtree Road Trips suit. I had the chance to co-design the suit with Scott Schultz. It has all the bells and whistles you could ever want, but it’s also the most p
ractical and functional bowhunting suit I’ve ever worn. It has a carbon-activated liner for great scent control and cinch straps on the chest to keep the jacket out of the way when you’re shooting your bow. It’s a really c
ool suit that helps make you a better, more effective bowhunter.
For hunting in more extreme conditions, I love Rivers West’s gear. Their fabrics and technologies are sweet. They saved my butt and Rhett Akin’s when we were stranded in Alaska for seven long days.
And you can’t beat the value and quality of Gander Mountain’s Guide Series apparel. All my raingear is from this top-notch line. Really good stuff at an unbeatable price.
